SLOW & GENTLE (BEGINNER FRIENDLY)

  • Come explore the basics of Yoga. A welcoming class developed for curious beginners, or seasoned practitioners who love a slower pace with effective, simple asana. Learn postures, alignment and breath while building balance and strength in a fun and playful environment.

  • This slower practice emphasizes a balance of postural alignment and breathing techniques to stretch and strengthen your body with gentle transitions and minimal weight bearing on your hands. This class concentrates on physical health and mental well-being, using bodily postures, breathing techniques, and meditation, with the goal of bringing about a sound, healthy body and a clear, peaceful mind.

  • Slow Flow is a creative, therapeutic flow designed to bring balance to the body and the mind. A slower paced class for you to mindfully move and breathe, while holding poses longer. You will explore your edge, yet still feel a relaxed and renewed experience. When we slow down, we calm the nervous system, we focus on our breath, & we become stronger mentally and physically.

  • This class starts with a slow flowing movement to get the body warm and the mind focused, then will move into a restorative practice to settle the body and mind. Meditation techniques and the practice of stillness (that connect us to the true essence of Yoga) will finish this complete practice.

  • Meridian yoga explores a blend of yin yoga postures, gentle movement and self acupressure to invite wellness and vitality into the body. Yin postures are held for longer periods of time to invite positive changes to our ligaments, joints and deep myofascial networks. As we move into stillness, we invite the steady focus of the mind and breath. Balancing this with gentle movement, we allow our energetic pathways, our meridians, to move and balance energy throughout the body. Finally, utilizing self-acupressure and the lens of the 5 elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Meridian Yoga is a powerful tool for exploring the many facets of our relationship with ourselves and the world around us.

The Hatha poses you will learn are the same as many of the postures that you will experience in Vinyasa, Power and Ashtanga classes. STRONG & ENERGIZED (INTERMEDIATE - ADVANCED)

  • Ashtanga yoga is a challenging form of hatha yoga. Each pose is linked to the next through a series of connecting movements called vinyasa, allowing the body to create heat, leading to more strength and flexibility. Smooth, deep ujjayi breathing, dristi and bandhas are synchronized with the movements. This powerful and vigorous practice purifies and realigns the body, cultivating a feeling of inner peace, and leading to a natural state of meditation. Our class introduces the basic concepts of the sun salutations and we always aim to include all the poses in the Primary Series. Extra time and attention are devoted to the breathing techniques and to establishing correct alignment within each posture. This class is designed to give the practitioner a solid foundation in the Ashtanga practice.

  • This style is modelled after Ashtanga yoga. The meaning of Vinyasa is to synchronize your movement to your breath.
Staying in tune with your breathing will help you flow through the sequence of poses. Build strength, flexibility, and concentration. Cleanse the body and calm the mind. Vinyasa classes do not follow a set sequence of postures; each class is unique and will vary from teacher to teacher. You can always expect a great cardiovascular and strength building workout combined with breath work (pranayama). After a flowing warm up, there are a number of standing postures that you will hold for up to five breaths. The standing series is followed by a floor series until you reach a final rest in Savasana. Pure bliss.

  • This energetic class consists of unique sequences that will shift from month to month. Each week you will have a new opportunity to Awaken Your Vinyasa by adding new asanas & movements such as jump backs, binds, arm balances and inversions. With every class building on the one before, you will continue to practice on what you previously learned, but also move forward & grow as you awaken to the next step in your Vinyasa journey!

  • Full Body Flow invites you to set an intention and get the juices flowing in this fun and supportive practice. Give every area of the body some love while cultivating heat to build total body strength and increase mobility.

Synchronize the breath with movement and flow with energy and ease to create a moving meditation. Welcome a feeling of vitality and balance back into your inner world.

  • This core fusion class focuses on activating & engaging muscle groups that make up 'the core'. You can expect the sequencing to incorporate many techniques of core work throughout, including attention to the abdominals, back, glutes & shoulders. There will be a yoga flow to warm up, followed by an intentional core sequence that will support any level of student in activation of proper muscles, ending with a deep stretch & cool down. Core fusion is a great class to assist in building the strength required for the progression of your yoga practice as ell as building integration in day-to-day movement. Prepare to move & sweat in this challenging and strength-building class; All levels welcome!

REST & RELAXATION (ALL LEVELS)

  • Rejuvenate your body with this blended sequence of yin and restorative yoga. Begin with deep stretches designed to target the deep connective tissues, increase flexibility and open the meridians of the body. Then a relaxing restorative sequence will softly unfold your body with the support of props to ensure complete relaxation into the postures, ending with a peaceful savasana.

  • Experience the healing benefits of restorative yoga and deep stretches of yin yoga in this class that combines two relaxing forms of practice.

Class will begin with a meditative centering practice, you will then be guided through a handful of yin and restorative poses intended to take you into the rest and digest part of your nervous system and free energy blockages to help restore optimum health. In these gentle and healing forms of yoga, you will practice with props to provide a supportive environment for stretching and total relaxation. Let stress and tension melt away and connect with a deep sense of peace. We will end with a long releasing savasana.

This class is slow, deeply nurturing and suitable for all levels.

  • There will be candlelight and soft music. Restorative Yoga is a gentle, therapeutic practice that allows the body to open at it’s own pace.
